Privacy statement

When you fill in the contact form, we process your name, e-mail address and message and, if you provide them, your company, country, phone number and the interest you chose. We use this data to answer your question and to follow up on any quotation or cooperation. The legal basis is your request (steps prior to a contract) and our legitimate interest in answering questions from customers and prospects.

The message is stored in the database of this website and forwarded by e-mail to our staff. We send that e-mail through Postmark (ActiveCampaign LLC, United States). We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your question and to follow up on any customer relationship.

On the contact page we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., United States) to tell real visitors from spam robots. To do so, Turnstile processes technical data such as your IP address and characteristics of your browser. It is loaded on the contact page only. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form and our inbox against abuse.

Only with your consent do we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) to see how visitors use the website. Google sets cookies for this. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookies" button at the bottom of every page.

On the contact page we show a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.). When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies, under its own privacy policy.

The website itself only uses what is technically necessary:

• a session cookie and a security cookie (XSRF-TOKEN) that protect the contact form; they expire after two hours;
• your choice about the statistics cookies, kept in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask again on every visit.

The website and its database are hosted by Combell NV, a Belgian hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to have its processing restricted, to object to the processing and to have your data transferred. You can withdraw any consent you gave at any time. Send your request to info@dewagtere.be.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
